Darcy Osta

I am an experienced litigator who concentrates my practice in aviation litigation and regulatory compliance and enforcement. I have spent my entire career defending aviation entities, including commercial and regional airlines, air ambulance operators, charter operators, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facilities, ground handling companies, aircraft maintenance and completion centers and individual mechanics. In May 2020, I successfully resolved an emergency action instituted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) against her client, an MRO, to revoke its Part 145 Air Agency Certificate. I have also obtained favorable results for her clients in courts across the country, including a summary judgment dismissal of negligence and strict liability claims against a helicopter tour operator on the grounds that the claims were preempted by 49 U.S.C. § 44112. I have always been fascinated by the aviation industry and one of the biggest perks about my work is learning something new with each matter, case or project.
