IAWA is very excited to announce the launch of its new Internship Program. The IAWA Internship Program will provide intermediary support between IAWA member companies offering internship opportunities and potential student or professional applicants in IAWA's network. IAWA reviews the requirements of both parties involved and works towards developing a match that will lead to a summer internship or Fellowship opportunity at companies that are looking for IAWA's network of scholarship recipients and women's development network. IAWA is currently working with ICAO and Textron through the internship program. Click here to learn more.

For its 25th Anniversary, IAWA commissioned Mary Prettyman, VP Marketing for IAWA, and Head of Strategic Marketing for Airbus North America, to modernize and change IAWA's logo. Mary put together a committee composed of Julie Ellis, Ellyn Slow, Mylene Scholnick, Susan Walsh, Diana Gurfel, Katie Callahan and Abby Bried that worked hard through several months and three rounds of intense revisions to successfully produce a new logo keeping in line with the three key components of the brief "Aviation - Women - Global". The logo was unveiled for the first time during IAWA's 25th Annual Conference and all attendees received a notepad with the new logo. It was the best gift IAWA could have chosen to celebrate its quarter century anniversary and to enter into its next phase! For those who missed our conference, we have reproduced Mary's speech, that could not summarize better IAWA's goals. Click here to view Mary’s speech.
We hope you will embark with us on our next journey.
