Our Resolve
Happy New Year! I am honored to take over the reigns from Deb Fowler as the 2010-11 IAWA President. The next two years present IAWA with an extraordinary opportunity to build upon our IAWA relationships, and use IAWA as a resource to advance women in the aviation industry. We recognize the power of relationships, which are essential to our industry. IAWA’s resolve is to provide you with the avenues in which to build these relationships. We hope your resolve is to get involved with IAWA, and take advantage of these opportunities to form, build and strengthen your relationships.

First IAWA Regional Reception of 2010!
On January 20th, about 50 ladies met in Dublin at the Four Seasons Hotel for the first IAWA regional reception of the year. Several IAWA members and board members joined including Zoe Layden, Mylene Scholnick, Kathy Flanagan, Lynne Guiney, Liz Barry, Alison Mason and Mary Ellen Jones.
Thanks to three generous sponsors and the persistence of Mary Ellen Jones at Pratt & Whitney, Liz Barry at EADS and Carolanne Cuningham at GECAS, IAWA was able to secure a wonderful venue for cocktails at the Four Seasons. We are very grateful to our sponsors and appreciate their support.
