Patty recently retired as the Chief Strategy Officer in the Aviation Department at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey. She is establishing her own consulting firm which will focus on improving diversity, equality and inclusion in the aviation sector, and policy and regulatory matters. She began her career in public service as a 17-year-old working for Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan. Following her tenure in his Washington, DC office she returned to New York and commenced a career in government and community relations. She joined the Port Authority in 1996, spearheading major planning and capital projects, resulting in the JFK AirTrain, the LGA and JFK Redevelopment Programs.
She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Big Apple Greeter organization and was elected to the Board of Trustees of Vaughn College for a term to begin in October 2021.
