Kayla started in aviation in 2011 as a manufacturing mechanic with Boeing on the 787 program. There she developed skills in engineering drawings, manufacturing processes and started on her leadership skills as a manufacturing team leader in various commodities. She leveraged Boeing's tuition program to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Management (2016) and continued her education completing her MBA with an emphasis in Finance in 2021. She started with Boeing Global Services in January 2020 as an estimating and pricing specialist for commercial parts supporting AOG customer requirements. She is an employee engagement team leader for BGS CE/CM as well as an active member in her local Boeing Women Inspiring Leadership chapter. In her spare time, she likes to read science fiction and fantasy, crochet, volunteer with various groups, and spend time with her husband and two pugs.
