Deborah Trainor


Deborah works in the Corporate Development and Strategy team where she leads various projects supporting the enterprise strategy team. Prior to Boeing, Deborah served as the Manager of Market Intelligence & Strategy for 5 years at Collins Aerospace where she led the market intelligence effort and managed the near term and 5 year strategic plan for commercial and military interior structures and cabin modification sector. She developed the 10 year market outlook, forecast and market size in the commercial aerospace aftermarket and the win loss analysis system.
 
Prior to the A&D industry, Deborah has 20 plus years of experience as a strategist and market intelligence leader helping Fortune 500 companies and technology startups maximize revenues, market share, and competitive positioning through effective research. Experience includes setting up enterprise-wide market intelligence framework and centralized intranet for sharing actionable intelligence to the organization. She also worked as a strategy consultant for many startups in the clean- tech industry.
 
Deborah is a graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia where she received a BA degree in International Relations with an interdisciplinary focus in Marketing, Management, and Economics, and a Minor in East Asian Studies (Japanese). Deborah's community involvement includes the World Affairs Council and acting as Business Generalist and Specialist Mentor (Strategy / Business Development) for the Cascadia CleanTech Alliance.
