Alison McHugh


Alison McHugh is an experienced safety and regulatory compliance professional with over 10 years of experience in the field. She is currently the Vice President of Safety & Quality for FEAM Maintenance and Engineering, a national Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) company. Through her career she has gained considerable experience and expertise in the areas of aviation safety, Safety Management System (SMS), training, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance. McHugh also currently serves as adjunct faculty for Miami Dade College, teaching aviation courses.
 
Prior to joining FEAM, she held positions as Manager of Safety Programs and Manager of Regulatory Affairs for the Air Charter Safety Foundation and the National Air Transportation Association.
 
McHugh earned a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical systems maintenance and flight, and a master’s degree in aeronautics, aviation/aerospace management & safety systems from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She is a licensed Commercial Rated Pilot and Airframe & Powerplant mechanic.
