HAPPY 2011!

Happy New Year! There are many things that IAWA is excited about this New Year! IAWA will celebrate its 23rd Annual Conference in Paris (November 16-18, 2011), a hub of aviation culture and information.

With this New Year brings opportunity. We will hold regional receptions in Arizona, San Francisco, Paris (July in conjunction with the Paris Air Show) Dubai (November in conjunction with the Dubai Air Show),and a few more receptions will be added throughout the year! Regional receptions are a great way to make and renew relationships. This year also brings with it the opportunity to mentor. IAWA has a mentoring program where women who do not meet IAWA’s membership requirements are paired with an IAWA member so that relationships may be formed and guidance given in hopes that our mentees will join IAWA in the future, and in hopes that IAWA and our mentors may help and contribute to each mentee. In order to offer this mentoring program, we need women interested in being a mentor. If you want to mentor, please let us know!

Our Board and very distinguished Advisory Board are committed to you and promoting women in the aviation industry. 2011 provides us all with exceptional opportunities to do so. Please reach out to us if we may help you, or let us know if you can make a contribution. The 2011 Paris Conference, our mentorship program, our scholarship program, our communications and membership programs (and regional receptions) provide so many opportunities for us all.
